Abstract (EN)

Today, as the first energy source for the operation of heating and cooling systems used in residential and commercial buildings, either fossil fuels or fossil fuels are used. It is known that most of the electricity in our country is produced from natural gas, and natural gas can be supplied in only 7% of the country and the remaining amount is obtained from abroad. On this fact, the establishment of systems with high exergy efficiency in residential and commercial buildings will enable the energy resources to be used more efficiently and intelligently. Within the scope of this thesis project, the energy and exergy analyzes of the existing heating and cooling system installed in the building were carried out and the system performances were determined, and the necessary improvements were made and the system was aimed to be a thermo-economic structure. In the building, hot water boilers within the existing heating installation use natural gas as energy source (fuel) and air cooled water chillers within the cooling system are used as energy source. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the biggest exergy destruction in the heating system was in the hot water boiler and the largest exergy destruction in the cooling system was in the water cooling group. Considering the other point data obtained, the improvement suggestions for improvement of heating and cooling system efficiency were evaluated.
