Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of this study is, to develop damage and loss estimation tools for predicting the earthquake damages in a possible earthquake for Manisa. In the study, 341 reinforced concrete buildings are grouped according to common features such as number of story and year of build. A total of 11 different building set was obtained. All of the buildings are modeled in 3-D computer model of the building and each was analyzed by nonlinear pushover analysis. Then, fragility curves of 4 different damage possibilities were plotted for each building set using the data obtained from pushover analysis results. Total of 44 fragility curves were obtained for 11 different building set. Using the fragility curves obtained as a result of this study, it is possible to estimate the potential damage in any area for the buildings with similar characteristics.
