ISOLATION OF TYROS NASE FROM MUSHROOM (Agaricus bisporus) ANDUTILIZATION FOR PHENOL REMOVAL(M.Sc. Thesis)Dilek ÖZÇEL KGAZ UNIVERSTYINSTITUE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYOctober 2005ABSTRACTIn this study, tyrosinase in mushroom (A. bisporus) was isolated and partly purified.Vm and Km values of the tyrosinase enzyme was determined by the help ofLineweaver-Burk plot. Partly purified tyrosinase was immobilized on chitosanbeads using glutaraldehyde. mmoblized enzyme was used for the dephenolizationprocedure in a plug flow reactor.Science Code : 219Key Words : Tyrosinase, chitosan, immobilize enzyme, phenol removalPage Number : 65Adviser : Prof. Dr. Selma ATEŞ
