Abstract (EN)
Marionette puppets are figures that have survived from pagan societies to the present, and whose lifeless bodies come to life in the hands of a human being. Puppet depictions, believed to be a part of magic and rituals, have become living characters in today's societies. It can be said that the first puppet figures uncovered in the light of archaeological finds were made of ceramic material. According to this argument, the ceramic art that has survived from the Neolithic period to the present day and the puppet art from ancient times to the present are in interaction with each other. Marionette puppets, valuable members of the show world and performances, could not remain indifferent to developing techniques and technologies. They have started to take place in digital platforms with different disciplines. In this context, one of the most prominent applications can be said to be stop motion animation cinema. Within the scope of stop motion application, inanimate characters gain movement by being photographed frame by frame. The most suitable character designs for this application can be made using puppet types. The necessity of having a plastic structure within the scope of the applications paved the way for the elements to be used in the animation cinema to be formed with ceramic body. Within the scope of this study, ceramic art has been integrated with the puppet art, which has come to the forefront in the history scene from the existence of human beings until today, and tried to be adapted to today's art and technology by meeting within the scope of a digital application.
