Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to provide guidance about reducing math anxiety by considering the effect of mathematical thinking on math anxiety as well as investigating the anxiety levels and causes of the anxiety of the university students for mathematics lesson which have an important place in the education system of our country. On the other hand, it is aimed to draw attention to the importance of mathematical thinking by improving mathematical thinking levels of students by measuring mathematical thinking levels of students. For this purpose, the relationship between mathematics anxiety levels and mathematical thinking levels of students with questionnaires to be applied to Sivas Cumhuriyet University Engineering Faculty students will be examined with two statistical methods Factor Analysis and Canonical Correlation Analysis.
