Abstract (EN)
Psychoanalysis, which is closely related to psychology, has also appeared in other branches of science. Especially in literature, the way in which writers and poets' unconsciousness reflected in literary works is also used today as an important technique because of the fact that the background of the work is revealed. How much the author reflects self-tracks on his work, how he creates the literary work, and what the wrote for, are the questions about what the readers and the writers are curious. In this study, Mehmet Seyda's novels, in which he tells about his own life, Young Tree , You'll Get Old One Day, Old Youth, Sexual Play, Burning Stone 1, Burning Stone 2, Mrs Sueda's Middle Daughter, and also in some others ( An event in the Garrison, Blind Devil and ve Stories 1-2 ) we have seen that he reflects his own personality, which we have examined from a psychoanalytic point of view and we have tried to establish a connection between the writer and his works that would illuminate the reader. In the first part, information on the birth of psychoanalysis and the theories of Sigmund Freud have been given and In the second part, these theories, novels and stories have been tried to be proved. As Mehmed Seyda expressed himself, his works about life story were found suitable to be examined by a Freudian perspective and the concepts such as sexuality, love, aggression, individualism, Oedipus complex in his works have been studied. The characters in his works were compared with the author's life story and many similarities have been found. As a result; it has been seen that the writer's unconscious reflected on the works and with these determinations the thoughts in the background of the works have been brought into view.
