Abstract (EN)

Sigma is a highly disciplined process that helps us focus on developing and delivering near-perfect products and services. The word is a statistical term that measures how far a given process deviates from perfection. Six Sigma takes the approach that you should first analyze your processes to determine how well they work. The measure of process performance is the number of defects per million products or million opportunities. The goal of Six Sigma performance is to achieve a very low number of Defects Per Million, less than 1 DPM, which is achieved when 6 sigmas of process variation fit within the tolerance specification or quality requirement for the product. This is better than 99% performance it's 99.9997% perfection. This study introduce the concept of Six Sigma for the Electric Industry. Various tools can be applied under Six Sigma concept for measuring and analysis of variations in a process. DMAIC is practiced in the ınjection department and supplier process also problem is identified. After implementation of six sigma process, it is found that, the process improved to defect rate. It clearly shows the way and scope for the further improvement of the same process indicating the flaw in the process. For pointing out the priority of the problems, some specific tools were used.
