Serum Isthmin-1 levels in breast cancer patients: A clinical investigation

Abstract (EN)

Aim: In this study we aimed to investigate the role of ISM1 in breast cancer. For this purpose, we clinically compared the healthy patients with no disease (Group 1), the patients with non memetastatic breast cancer (Group 2) and the patients with axillary lymph node positive breast cancer (Group 3) Material and methods: We studied with the patients in the General Surgery Clinic who were diagnosed breast cancer between 2023-2025, older than 18 y.o. women ; have no other malignancy, psyciathric disorders and morbid obesity. 22 healthy women, 16 women who have non metastatic breast cancer and 27 women who have axillary lymph node pozitive breast cancer included in this study. Physal examination findings, radiologycal results, preoperative pathological results, preoperative treatments and postoperative pathological results were eveluated. Age, weight, height,demographic,socio cultural feutrals and cronic diseases of the patients are considered. We compared serum ISM1 levels between 3 groups of patients.
