Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effect of different organic fertilizer (worm, chicken, cattle, NPK) applications on yield and quality of Mentha spicata L. harvested in full flowering period was investigated. As a result of the research, plant height averages 38.40-46.53 cm, fresh herba yields 5872.78-15166.6 kg/ha, dry leaf yield 1336.73-2732.7 kg/ha, dry herba yield 2753.3-4984.2 kg/ha, leaf content 14.3-22.9%, essential oil content 1.76-2.31%, the essential oil yield ranged between 33.72-57.10 L/ha. The four main components of the essential oil were determined as D-Limone, 1,8 sineol, Karvon, Piperiton oksit. D-Limone ratio ranged between 7.62-11.61%, 1.8 sineol 7.81-11.71%, Karvon 0.001-13.81%, Piperiton oksit 41.35-65.15%. According to the results of the experiment, significant differences were found between fertilizer applications. The highest values for the characteristics studied were obtained from NPK fertilizer and worm fertilizer applications.
