Abstract (EN)
In this study, industrial waste such as marble powder, fly ash, and blast furnace slag were used as raw materials in manufacturing of foamed concrete blocks. Usability of marble powder as main filling raw material was investigated. CEM I 42,5 R type cement was selected as binding materials. Polypropylene fibre was used as 0.5% of cement binder. Since marble powder used in the experiments had fine grains, this material was directly used after screening process without crushing or grinding process. Pre-foaming method was adopted during foamed concrete manufacturing stages. After density measurements of manufactured foam in foam machine, this foam was added to mixture. After adding all components to mixer, mixing process was completed with mechanical methods. When fresh concrete was homogenised, this concrete was moulded in 15x15x15 cm forms. Thermal conductivity values of plate samples varied between 0.14-0.20 W/mK. These data were similar to commercial aerated concrete. Dry loss value in samples with marble powder were as 0.09% while the highest shrinkage values was observed in complete fly ash filler series as 0.11%. Pressure strength level of obtained samples varied between 1.60 MPa-4.35 MPa.
