Relationship between occupational commitment and corporate reputation: An application in the public hospital

Abstract (EN)

In this study it is aimed to reveal the relationship between occupational commitment and corporate reputation perceptions of working nurses working in public hospitals. For this purpose, the data were obtained by applying questionnaire method to 234 nurses working in Evliya Çelebi Training and Research Hospital of Kütahya Health Science University. Frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean and standart deviation value were used in the analysis of descriptise data and reliability analyzes were carried out. And the final stage of the analysis, correlation analysis was performed in relationship measurement tests and regression analyzes were performed in effect measurement tests. As a result of the analysis, a significant relationship was found between occupational commitment and corporate reputation. It was also found that the level of occupational commitment had a positive effect on the perception of reputation. It is determined that the willingness to make effort which is one of the sub-dimensions of occupational commitment, and belief in targets and values positively effect the perception of corporate reputation but the willingness to maintain professional membership doesn't have a positive effect on the perception of corporate reputation.
