Abstract (EN)
This study was conducted to determine the relationship between the perceived quality of work life and job satisfaction levels of teachers working in vocational and technical education institutions. The study is quantitative research which is conducted using a correlational survey model. The sample of the study consists of teachers working in public vocational and technical education institutions in the province of Sakarya during the 2021-2022 academic year. The "Work Life Quality Scale" developed by Van Laar et al. (2007) and adapted to Turkish by Akar and Üstüner (2017), and the "Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale" developed by Weiss et al. (1967) and adapted to Turkish by Baycan (1985) were used to collect data. T-Test, One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), correlation, and regression analyses were conducted as the data showed a normal distribution. The research findings revealed that teachers' The teachers' perception of the quality of their work life was found to be significantly positive. Significant differences were found in teachers' opinions about work life quality based on gender and years of service in their schools. The study also found that teachers had high levels of job satisfaction, and there were significant differences in their opinions about job satisfaction based on gender and seniority. A high, positive, and significant relationship was observed between teachers' perceptions of work life quality and job satisfaction levels. Furthermore, it was concluded that teachers' perceptions of work life quality significantly predicted their job satisfaction levels.
