Abstract (EN)

A basis should be provided for the continuing training of the students directed to repeating and changing occupations based on vocational competence, broad-based in technical and vocational education targeting to training skilled labor of the future. The purpose of modular teaching system is to make students gain the required information and skills in order to be easily employed after they have been graduated. From the point of teachers, the aim is to train students, those can be employed with student-centered education, and make the teachers renew themselves and follow the technological developments.It should be determined how the teachers and the students evaluate the system in order to carry out modular teaching system in the direction of the targets determined. Therefore, the study of modular teaching system has been done. Survey questions have been formed to evaluate the modular system and these questionnaires have been applied to 332 students and 172 teachers in different schools. The statistics of the questionnaires have been made in SPSS program (Statistical Packet Social Sciences) and the results for evaluation have been obtained. The variables of this process are teaching programs, teaching methods and teaching materials. Some shortcomings have been determined for the adaptation of these variables to modular teaching system. Suggestions have been made in order to satisfy these needs. On condition that these needs have been considered, it has been foreseen that the performance expected from modular teaching system can be obtained.Key Words: Modul, Modular Training, MEGEP
