Abstract (EN)
In this study, the oxidation of methanol and some kinetic parameters related to the reactions of this oxidation were investigated in a medium of 1 M KOH. Graphite (Grafit), carbon nanotubes-enjeckted graphite (Grafit/CNT), nickel-coated graphite (Grafit/Ni) and carbon nanotubes modified graphite with nickel-coated electrodes (Grafit/CNT-Ni) were utilized as the working electrodes. Cyclic Voltammetry Technique was made use of for the identification of the kinetic parameters. The experiments were carried out under various heat, scanning rate and methanol oxidation. As a result of the study, of the electrodes used, Grafit /CNT-Ni was determined to more active than Grafit/CNT and Grafit/Ni electrodes. Activation energy of Grafit /CNT-Ni electrode was calculated as 33,81 kJ/mol in the methanol oxidation.
