Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, it is aimed to determine the most suitable alternative for the management of sludge formed after the treatment of wastewater originating from metal plating plants. For this purpose, firstly, four alternatives were determined, consisting of waste-derived fuel (ATY), vitrification, hydrometallurgical method and pyrometallurgical method. Then, SWOT analysis was carried out for these alternatives in terms of technical, economical and environmental criteria. In the SWOT analysis, alternatives and criteria were compared in scale 1-9 by twenty stakeholders. In the SWOT analysis, the MCDM methods, AHP and COPRAS approaches, and the sequencing of the analysis methods were performed. According to these rankings; while it was determined that the most suitable method was ATY, the other direction was listed as vitrification, hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical orientation.
