Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this thesis is to uncover the level of psychological destruction experienced by LGBTI+ individuals resulting from negative behaviors such as marginalization, violence and discrimination within the context of their identities. The negativity, bullying and violence that LGBTI+ individuals are exposed to is explained through their identities. The linguistic characteristics of cinema makes it possible to reveal how LGBTI+ individuals are exposed to psychological and physical violence by their peers and environment. Self-perceptions and expectations about other people are shaped within the storyline. Evaluations are made on how the pressure on such individuals, today and in the future, can have negative psychological and physiological effects through the medium of cinema, which in itself is an audio-visual storytelling art.
