An analysis on Mevlüt Süleymanlı?s novel `Göç?

This study has been carried out to elucidate the work of Mevlüt Süleymanlı called `Göç?. Mevlüt Süleymanlı was born in the village of Kızıl Şafak in Azerbaijan in 1943.The author also concentrating on poetry, short and long story works has four novels named ?Göç? (1980), ?Ceviz kurdu? (1981-82), ?Ses? (1984) and ?Günah Duası?.The reason we chose the novel ?Göç? being subject of the thesis is that ?Göç? remains to be an important novel of contemporary literature in Azerbaijan.The thesis primarily elucidates with succinct info on the life, literary life and works of Mevlüt Süleymanlı. The summary of `Göç? novel was given. Finally, the groups of characters in the novel were elaborated under general headings of time, place and sequence of events.The novel was analyzed from different dimensions. Henceforth, Turkish readers were attempted to be given a taste of Azerbaijani literature to a certain level, thereby forming a reference source for the Azerbaijan literature.Key Words: Azerbaijan literature, Mevlüt Süleymanlı, ?Göç?
