Abstract (EN)

The combination of nanotechnology and biological fields is defined as innovative areas waiting to reveal the facilitating or enhancing effects of targeted manipulations and materials on human life. Cellulose is a highly promising biomaterial for developing advanced wound patches due to their biocompatibility, biodegradability, and antimicrobial properties. These polymers promote wound healing by creating a moist environment, promoting cell proliferation, and stimulating tissue regeneration. Cellulose hydrophilic nature, hemostatic and anti-inflammatory characteristics make them suitable for various wound care applications, including burns and chronic wounds. Cellulose and phenolic compounds have demonstrated efficacy in maintaining a moist wound environment, facilitating oxygen exchange, and releasing bioactive molecules that stimulate wound healing properties. The integration of these materials into a wound patch can provide antimicrobial protection, and enhanced healing. Therefore, this thesis aims to create suitable wound dressing materials and focus on their analysis.
