Abstract (EN)

When mentioning our thesis subject which is formed by social and economical life in mesopotamia, we tried to explain social and economic life by researching trade pack texts, dept contracts financial records, renting contracts, reform regulations booklets which can be accepted as a law, present laws and writings about law and economics. Sumerians were the first ones who showed the first written examples of their effort in living in an order in society. King Urukagina, who arranged and practised social life in order to make it be able to be lived, was the first reformer. (B.C 2350) It is formed by Ur-Nammu laws, Ana Itti?u law, e?nunna law,Hammurabi law, middle Asur law, new Babylon law, Ammi-Şaduqa lawsI tried to mention Sumer-Akad, Babylon and Assyrion period?s social life and society?s family life in the first part of the research. I mentioned the subjects such as marriage, devorcement, herritage and adopting child while researching family life. I tried to explain cultural closeness and herritage within the laws which are interacted eachother in a time withSumer, Akad, Babylan and Assyrian.I mentioned on the economical activities of the states that I have studied in the second part of the research. I have also studied agriculture, stock raising, mining and trade as subtitles.
