Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effects of Mg doping in Bi-2223 superconductor samples were investigated. The samples were prepared by substituting Magnesium (MgO) (x = 0.00, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20) for Copper (Cu) with changing ratios by the solid-state reaction method. The superconducting and other properties of these compounds have been investigated by measuring resistivity-temperature (R-T), the X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the density. The electrical resistance measurements were made by standard for-probe method. The magnetic susceptibility measurements were made by mutual inductance method. (SEM) was employed to investigate the surface microstructure and surface morphology of the samples considered. It was determined that effect of Mg supports the development of the Bi-2212 and Bi-2223 phases. In the light of these measurements and analyses the effects of Mg dopant on superconducting properties of samples were discussed.
