Abstract (EN)

War has been defined in different ways from past to nowadays. There have been made several discussions about the relationship between war and human nature. Some people have examined war as part of human nature, some as an armed struggle which is learned later. Whether it is a part of human nature or an action learned during the historical process, there has absolutely need to justify it. These justifications comprehended the just war theory In this study, as a summary, the relationship between war and human nature, the morality problem of war, just war theory and its development are explained on the basis of the views of Michael Walzer, who one of the most important representatives of this theory. Just war of thesis of Michael Walzer that he put forwards in his thoughts in the framework concepts war crime, the rules of war, the methods of war, the dilemmas of war, aggression, the human rights, social freedom, political independence and moral responsibility were explained. As a result, a war start with justified reason is not enough for the war to be justified. According to Walzer,it must be determined who will be killed in the war, who cannot be killed and who will be left out of the war. Defending is justified, not a crime when we were attacked, but what should be done in case of a violation? How can the conflicts between jus in bello and jus ad bellum be explained? Based on his questions, it is explained that war cannot be independent of morality and that soldier will under no circumstances abolish moral responsibilities.
