Investigation of the effect of micro climate data on floating solar power plant production

The need for energy is increasing day by day. Since fossil fuels are limited and harmful to the environment, the use of renewable energy has increased. Photovoltaic systems have become widely used thanks to both being a clean and renewable energy source and long life span, and accelerating the efforts to increase their efficiency. Solar power plants established in the world are mainly built on empty land. However, the increase in land values, the increasing population of the country, the power of these plants in small countries with a small face size and the need to increase day by day with the need to increase the need for different searches. As a result of these searches, the establishment of photovoltaic systems on water resources; preventing water evaporation, providing natural cooling, contributing to the creatures living in the water, etc. has been preferred due to such advantages. The largest example in the world is the 150 MW plant located in Huainan, Anhui Province, China. Floating solar power plant connected to the first network in Turkey was founded in 2017 on top of Büyükçekmece lake. In this thesis, the installation of PV panels with 260 Watt output power on Büyükçekmece lake is explained and the effects of microclimate data on the production of PV panels are experimentally investigated.
