Abstract (EN)
Biocatalysts; have an importance in the areas of biotechnology and pharmacology due to their role in the synthesis of bioactive molecules. Valuable chemicals which can not be synthesized by chemical methods can be synthesized by using enzyme or microorganisms as a catalyst and by prefering biocatalysts, some advantages over other methods can be obtained. The use of these methods to synthetize the compounds which are industrially important are considerable due to having a high productivity and being more enviromentally friendly. Indoles and their derivatives are industrially important bioactive molecules as well. Besides, various derivatives which have different activities of indoles are used in the pharmaceutical industry. For all these reasons, in our study; by choosing a bioactive indole derivative, biotransformation of this molecule will be realized by using enzymes and microorganisms.
