Abstract (EN)

Essential oils produced from plants such as lavender and anise have been used in many areas since ancient time. In particular, the place of essential oils in the pharmaceutical industry is increasing day by day. According to their species they show antiseptic, antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antioxidant, stimulant and soothing properties. Generally they have disinfecting and immune system strengthening effects. From past to present essential oils have been obtained by using many different methods. Along with the developing technology, methods have been improved. Higher efficiency, higher quality, less energy consumption, fewer damage to the environment and less time consuming methods have been explored. In this study, essential oils from lavender (Lavandula angustifolia Miller) and anise (Pimpinella anisum L.) plants were obtained bu using solvent free microwave extraction method which is one of the methods of microwave extraction. This method has a positive effect on environmental pollution because it doesn't use solvent, requires less energy amd take less time.
