Abstract (EN)

EM absorbers have several uses in today's military and civilian industries. Additionally, there is a growing demand for microwave absorbers with good absorption characteristics and thin layer structures over a broad frequency range within a specific EM spectrum band. In this study, EM absorber design was carried out for multilayer structures using the Bald Eagle Search Optimization Algorithm. For various incidence angles and polarizations in chosen frequency ranges, comparisons were done with Improved Particle Swarm Optimization, DE, CFO, etc. in the literature. It is aimed to find the most suitable design with various designs using different material data sets. The goal of Bald Eagle Search Optimization is to find the multi-layer microwave absorber designs that are most suited for the 19–37 GHz frequency range. These optimizations aim to construct the absorber with the lowest maximum reflection coefficient in the given frequency range and the thinnest thickness by selecting the suitable material layers from a predefined database. The numerical best results are presented for each variation obtained as a result of the optimization. The MATLAB R2021b application was utilized to complete this thesis.
