Abstract (EN)
In this study, a microprocessor controlled based radiation detection device has been designed. Similar devices on marketing either have high cost or couldn?t very well satisfy adhoc requirements. We have developed an alternative upgrading system which is relevant programmable, adjustable and cheaper than similar ones on marketing.Developed pre-amplifier and amplifier electronic stages of the radiation counting system adding commercial radiation semiconductor detector, called RCS-F1, have placed in an 40 mm diameter and 15 cm height aluminum cylinder tube. Microcontroller and memory unit stage was placed in an aluminum box after it had connected to necessary tuning switch and digital LCD display. Afterwards different counting modes which the system presents to user with depending menu have been tested with different semi-insulating radiation detectors. Keywords: Radiation counting, microprocessor, RCS-F1
