Abstract (EN)
This thesis examines the architectural design process through the relationship of architects and architectural products. The evaluation of architectural products in today?s developing and changing conditions by examining the design process is the intention of this work. Architectural design is considered to be the intellectual act performed to obtain the architectural product. Development, evaluation and presentation of architectural product is examined through the relationship of architects and their products. Researches on architectural design process dictates that it can be examined on four different sections such as analysis, synthesis, evaluation and communication. Personal decisions and preferences of the architects are distinctive features of architectural products in all phases of design process. This thesis will try to explain creative characteristics of architectural products though most of them are not known yet. An architectural design process is examined as an example for the explanation of the context in this thesis.Key Words: Architectural design process, architectural product
