Abstract (EN)
This thesis consists of three chapters. In the first chapter, basic definitions and theorems are given in Euclidean 3-space 3 E and inMinkowski 3-space 31E .In the second chapter, the differential equations which characterize spacelike curves of constantbreadth are given in the Minkowski 3-space 31E . Furthermore, a criterion for spacelike curves ofconstant breadth in Minkowski 3-space 31E is introduced and an example is given. In the third chapter, the differential equations characterizing timelike curves of constant breadthare given in the Minkowski 3-space 31E . Then using these equations, a criterion whichcharacterizes these curves is given. Finally a special case is considered as an example. The second and third chapters are original parts of this thesis.
