Abstract (EN)
Recently, the popularity of researches on autonomous and semi-autonomous mobile robots are increasing. Day by day, the robots have become more intelligent systems. The flexibility of the systems is significantly increased with the autonomy feature in robotic applications. In this thesis, semi-autonomous mobile robot is aimed to achieve the desired point by performing the desired command. It is aimed to go the shortest path without damaging objects and itself by avoiding obstacles on its operation path thanks to the self-determination feature of the mobile motor. Additionally, Sensors of the robot have provided the desired information. The purposed robot has been controlled by an ARM-based controller card. The open source codes (ROS) known as Robot operation system have been used. In this way, the robot platform having a flexible programming capability has been obtained in this work.
