Abstract (EN)

vINVESTIGATION OF TEMPERATURE EFFECT ON APPLICATION OFMONOCHLOROTRIAZINE DYESTUFF (REACTIVE ORANGE 12) ONTOCOTTON FABRICS(M.Sc. Thesis)Ammar Yasir KILIÇASLANGAZ UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYSeptember 2006ABSTRACTRaw materials of textile dyes containing monochlorotriazine is gaining muchmore importance due the fact that Turkish Textile Industry is heavily dependedon imported goods at a greater extent. Monoclorotriazine reactive dye orange12 is being used in many applications onto cotton textiles at different physicalconditions. Through successive applications in determining distinct colorfastness performance of dye is being tested. In three dimensional color space L,a*, b* values are being measured and relevant analyses are being done. Inaddition by using these parameters optimum temperature of dye application isobserved at 70 0C.Science Code : 912Key Words : Reactive yellow dye, cotton fabric, color fastnessPage Number : 49Adviser : Asc.
