Abstract (EN)

Theaim of thisstudywastodetermine of phylogeneticrelationshipamongthespecies of Q. macrantheraFisch. & Mey. exHohen, subsp. syspirensis(C. Koch) Menitsky(Endemic), Q. petraea (Mattuschka) Liebl. Subsp.iberica(Steven exBieb.) Krassiln, Q. infectoriaOliversubsp.boissieri (Reuter) O. Schwarz, Q. pubescensWilld.,Q. virgilliana Ten.andQ. cerris L. var.cerriswiththeuse ofmorphologicalandmicromorphologicfeatures.Takingthedensity of naturaldistributions of oakspecies in Kastamonuintoconsideration, threestudyareaswith 30 oaktreesfromeachareawerechosenrandomlyfromnaturalforests in Kastamonu region. Ten leavesfromeachtreewerecollectedandusedfordetermination of morphologicalfeatures. Inaddition, micromorphologicalfeatures on leaves (stomata, waxandtrichomes)wereinvestigatedwithscanningelectronmicroscope (SEM).The most effective leafmorphometriccharacters for can be use to such of Flora of Turkey determinate of species are lamina length, lobewidth, leafwidth, the distance betweenthe baselobes, the distance between theendlobes, width between terminal lobe, area of leaf surface. Q. cerris L. var. cerriscan be distinguishbecause of waxlayer ofthe lowerfaceiscompletelysmooth and Q. petraeasubsp. iberica can be distinguishfrom the other species withthestructure ofthe type ofstoma and features of hair.As a results of thisstudy, Q. pubescensandQ. virgilianawerefoundto be closetoeachotheraccordingtomorphologicalandmicromorphologicalfeatures. It can be saidthatQ. infectoria is closelyrelatedtothisspecies, but Q. macranthera, Q. petraeaandQ. cerris var. cerrisformedverydifferentgroupfromQ. pubescensWilld.,Q. virgilliana Ten. andQ. infectoriaOliversubspboissieri (Reuter) O.
