Abstract (EN)

The concept of "Mucrim" is one of the attributes of Allah's servants in the Qur'an and is repeated in many verses. Our endeavor to understand the Qur'an has led us to the idea that this concept should also be researched and analyzed. The concept of mucrim, which is defined as "sinner" by the society, contains a lack of knowledge about the nature of sin and its magnitude/smallness. The commentators have said that the people who are meant by the term mucrim are those who commit major sins such as disbelievers, sinners or polytheists. In the course of history, words may expand or contract in meaning. These situations lead to confusion of meaning in words. As a result of our study, it has been tried to eliminate this confusion of meaning on the concept of "mucrim" and to determine the direction of meaning changes in the pre- and post- descent period. This confusion of meaning has been tried to be eliminated firstly in the first period dictionary studies, then in Arabic poetry, and then in the light of hadith books and classical tafsir books, which have an important place in the history of Islam. In the literature review of this field, it was seen that there were not enough studies on this concept except for a few studies and this deficiency was tried to be overcome to some extent.
