Abstract (EN)

Müge İplikçi, one of the most important living female writers of Turkish literature, in addition to writing novels, stories and children's books, is an academician and columnist who expresses the female condition with her unique style. In this study, Müge İplikçi's stories were examined and the characteristics of her storytelling were determined. The study aims to point out the place and contributions of the writer in Turkish storytelling. The study consists of three sections apart from the introduction and conclusion. In the introduction, the development of story was shortly described. In the first section, the life and pieces of Müge İplikçi were presented. In the second section, the storytelling style of the writer was described through surveying all of her work. The third section of the study is the longest and broadest part. In this section, the stories were analyzed under six titles (plot, theme, character, time, place, point of view and narrator) in accordance with chronological order. Since the study was based on İplikçi's stories, a context-based analysis was conducted and samples from the texts were presented. In the conclusion, the study findings were examined. And an interview with the writer was included in appendix part.
