The life of Muhammed Emin Metin Andhoyi and an analyse on his poetries

This thesis, titled "An Analysis of the Life and Poetry of Muhammed Emin Metin Andhoyi", is the most comprehensive first study on the life, art, and poetry of the Afghan origin Uzbek-Turk poet Muhammed Emin Metin Andhoyi. In addition to the information provided in the sources, personal interviews with his artistic environment, writers who wrote about him, and his children were conducted and the information obtained was carefully examined and evaluated. On the other hand, the analysis of the poet's poems was based on his three published divans. In this study it was found that the poet's total of 6553 quatrains in his three published works contributed significantly to Afghan poetry in general and the Afghan Uzbek-Turk poetry in particular. This thesis aims to introduce the poet, who produced artistic works in the geography of South Turkistan, to Turkish literature as a section of literary developments in that region. This thesis consists of three main sections. The first section, titled "The Life of Muhammed Emin Metin Andhoyi", deals with his birth, childhood and family environment, educational life, military service, public service, travels, physical situations, personal characteristics, as well as his death. The second section, titled "The poems of Muhammed Emin Metin Andhoyi", provides detailed information on the poet's start in poetry, people who influenced him, artistic environment, artist personality, artistic understanding or viewpoint, titles and awards received. The third section, which is the most important part of this study, is titled "The Poetry of Muhammed Emin Metin Andhoyi" and includes a detailed analysis of the content, rhyme forms, style, verse, harmony, language and expression of his poetry, with relevant subheadings and examples from his poems. In the conclusion section, based on the findings and information obtained from the entire study, the artist's life, art, and poetry of the poet were evaluated in a comprehensive manner, and a summary was made of the contribution of the study to the field of Turkish literature.
