Abstract (EN)
Information technologies have become a part of our daily lives in both individual and organizational contexts. The strain and stress experienced by employees due to intensive use of technology is called "technostress". The concept of technostress is a type of stress and consists of five dimensions: techno-overload, technocomplexity, technouncertainty, techno-invasion and techno-insecurity. The aim of the study is to examine the relationship between the demographic characteristics of accounting professionals and their technostress levels. The application was made on a random 533 profession members operating in different regions throughout Turkey via a digital platform. The questionnaire consists of questions about the demographic characteristics of the members of the profession in the first part. In the second part, statements related to the technostress scale are included. The study aims to learn the effects of demographic characteristics of accounting professionals on technostress. SPSS program was used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the study, it was determined that the variables of age, tenure, title, working style, monthly income and having a certificate affect the technostress level of the professional staff. It is concluded that gender and number of employees in the workplace variables partially affect the technostress level of the professional members, while marital status, educational status and geographical region of work do not affect the technostress level of the professional members.
