Approach in Muhsin Demirci's work "Kur'ân Tefsirinde Farklı Yorumlar Tespitler Değerlendirmeler"

Thefact that the Qur'an is the final divine book sent as a guidance to all of humanity, its tendency to engage its recipients in contemplation and understanding, and its continuous relevance in the focus of people's attention since its revelation have led to the production of numerous scholarly works. In this regard, a significant legacy has been formed. Just like in any field of knowledge, new works in the field of Qur'anic exegesis are built upon existing accumulations. Every society should interpret the Qur'an according to the language and understanding of the era in which it is lived, while also taking into consideration the indisputable authoritative works in this field. The interpretation efforts made in understanding the Qur'an are referred to as tafsir and ta'wil. The Qur'an has been preserved without any alteration or contradiction since its inception. However, it is observed that there are differences in interpretation within these efforts. Various studies have been conducted to explore the reasons behind the different interpretations of Qur'anic verses. In this study, the book "Kur'ân Tefsirinde Farklı Yorumlar/Tespitler-Değerlendirmeler" by Muhsin Demirci, which is an important work in this field, is examined. The author's life and works are briefly introduced, the concepts of tafsir and ta'wil are explained, different types of tafsir are identified, and the author's approach to observations and evaluations is emphasized. This study, consisting of an introduction and two chapters, aims to provide readers with insights into proper understanding of the Qur'an, accessing different interpretations, and making choices based on these interpretations through the presentation of the valuable work "Kur'ân Tefsirinde Farklı Yorumlar/Tespitler Değerlendirmeler".
