Abstract (EN)

Muhyiddin el-Kafiyeci, the author of the masterpiece named Nüzhetu'l-İhvan which we have investigated, is among the important scholars who lived in the eighth century AH and educated many famous scientists and sultans. In the first chapter of this work, he arrayed the characteristics which must be of an ideal glossator. Then, the author handled that the miracle of Qur'an can be found not only on the basis of sura but olso in long verses. As an example, he gives the 81. verse's explanation of Hûd sura ''They (Messengers) said: '' O Lout (Lot)! Verily, we are the messengers from your Lord! They shall not reach you! So travel with your family in a part of the night, and let not any of you look back, but your wife (will remain behind), verily, the punishment which will afflict them, will afflict her. Indeed, morning is their appointed time. Is not the morning near?'' He conditionally explains the features of the words in this verse like expenditure, nahw, declaration, meaning uniqueness. The in another chapter he makes the gloss of the 44th verse ''And it was said, 'O earth, swallow your water, and o sky, withhold (your rain). '' ''And the water subsided, and the matter was accomplished and the ship cae to rest on the (mountain of) Judiyy. And it was said, ''Away with the wrongdoing people'' in the same way. In the Turkish part of our work, we handled the author's regards to language and rhetoric, and we saw that the author shares the same opinion with most of the previous scientists, about basic language and concision. Keywords: Concision, Gloss, Verse, Sura, Lout
