Abstract (EN)
This study determines the material cultural elements in the Divan of Murad Emrî Efendi, one of the 19th century divan poets, and to examine how these elements were processed by the poetry. Our purpose is to determine the material cultural elements in Murad Emrî Efendi's Divan, and that the divan poets are not detached from the social life and their environment; in particular, to reveal that they frequently included elements of material culture in their poetry and to contribute to a better understanding of our ancient poetry tradition. This study was taken as a basis from the study "Ömrünün Sonbaharında Bir Yaban Gülü Bursalı Murad Emrî Efendi ve Divanı" (2017) prepared by Assoc. Prof. İbrahim İmran Öztahtalı. We started our study by scanning the Divan of Murad Emri Efendi from beginning to end and identifying the material cultural elements. We classified the elements we obtained according to their subjects and explained each element according to the relevant classifications, and then tried to reveal how these elements were processed by the poet and the features that were highlighted. We have also benefited from various sources to explain and interpret the elements we have discussed in detail. Besides, we have indicated the identifiers of the sample strophes or clauses of all the relevant elements, which we use or don't use, in the index section, with the thought that they will contribute to the other survey and studies related to the field.
