Political and military activities of the Pasha Mürsel Bakü

In this study titled ?Political and military activities of The Pasha, Mürsel Bakü, the condition of The Ottoman Empire before The First World War is handled and life and military activities of Mürsel Bakü are examined. After examining life and military activities of Mürsel Bakü (The Pasha), a detailed search for these activities is conducted by means of both archieve documents and the books and articles of the period. In other words, the combats he participated in the First World War and his achievements in these combats are covered. Then his superior services during Azerbaijan Independence War, especially his significant contributions to conquer Baku are explained. His military tactics which are of primary importance in this victory are expressed mentioning independence compaigns which begin with Mustafa Kemal?s stepping in Samsun, May 19. 1919 and military acpect of High Command Battle, a considerable cornerstone of this compaign are recounted. And finally, the Pasha?s late military and political activities are expalined.
