Abstract (EN)
In this study, endemic Muscari mirum Speta which is distributed as local in Turkey and it's allied species Muscari massayanum Grunert, Muscari tenuiflorum Tausch and Muscari latifolium Kirk. were investigated by morphological, anatomical and ecological features. Based on the morphological characters of the species in this study was aimed to distinguish from each other. Determination of macromorphological features was obtained by measuments taken from living materials. Within this scope bulbs, leaves, flowers, fruits and seeds were measured. In order to determine the micromorphological characteristics, seed and pollen structures were investigated under Light Microscope (LM) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). In anatomical studies, cross-sections of roots, scape, leaves and surface sections of leaves of specimens were taken and examined under the Light Microscope (LM). For cytological studies, seeds were germinated and root tips of germinated seeds were utilized. Soil samples to determine the ecological requirements of species; it has been subjected to physical and chemical analysis in terms of pH, salinity, limestone, clay, sand, organic matter, macronutrient and micronutrient elements. Significant differences were found in bulbs, leaves and especially in flowers in terms of macromorphological features. In micromorphological studies carried out by SEM, there were significant differences in ornamentations of testa and pollen structures. It was observed that species have specific characters of family in terms of the anatomical features. Roots and scape differ by numbers of vascular bundles, arragements of vascular bundles and thickness of the tissues and leaves differ by characteristics of the tissues and the margins. Within the scope of ecological studies, it has been determined that species are grow in soils which are neutral or alkaline, slightly acidic, non-salted, non-calcareous or very high calcareous, have sufficient or high organic matter and variable for macronutrient and micronutrient elements. Macromorphological, micromorphological and anatomical characteristics of the species have been specified. Within the scope of macromorphological studies, the descriptions of the species have been expanded considerably. In ecological studies some ecological requirements of species have been determined.
