The problem of evil in the context of Mutezile and Maturidyye's looks on the issue of aslah

The connection of the things that are considered bad in the history of thought with the creator and the source of the evils in the world have been at the forefront of the issues questioned by humanity. From past to present, those who accept that the creator is a being with infinite goodness, knowledge, will and power have been opposed on the grounds that the existing evils do not match the idea of such a creator. The problem of evil in the science of kalam has been handled within the framework of the subject of aslah, and by examining Mu'tazila, Ash'ari and Mâturîdîs, ideas for the source and interpretation of evil have been formed. The issue of Aslah has also been discussed in theology within the scope of divine justice and human actions. This study consists of introduction, three chapters and conclusion. In the first part, the definitions of the concepts related to the concepts of salah-aslah are made. In the second part, the theory of aslah of Mu'tazila is discussed. At the same time, the issue of justice, which is shown as the main basis of this theory, has been included in the content of this section in general terms, based on the schools of Mu'tazila and Maturidiyya. The third chapter, which is also the title of our thesis, is devoted to the criticisms of the Mâturîdîs against the Mu'tazila on the issue of aslah. In this section, opinions on the solution of the problem of evil, which is an important factor in the emergence of aslah, are shared. The conclusion part is a panoramic photograph of the subjects we discussed in our study and also includes evaluations and partial solution suggestions.
