Abstract (EN)

In recent years, the restaurants in Bozcaada, which has become an important tourist attraction, have created a remarkable atmosphere through authentic elements reflecting the island's identity and the use of musical components in their venues. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the perceptions of individuals visiting Bozcaada for tourism purposes regarding music, perceived authenticity, sense of belonging, and behavioral intentions (e.g., revisit and recommendation) within the context of their restaurant experiences. In this framework, the study aims to examine the relationships among these variables and to clarify how these interactions shape tourists' behavioral intentions. The research population consists of domestic tourists visiting restaurants in Bozcaada. To reach the participants within this population, a convenience sampling method was employed. The data were collected through face-to-face surveys conducted with domestic tourists who had dining experiences in Bozcaada restaurants between May 15, 2024, and September 15, 2024. A total of 429 valid questionnaires were obtained. The data were analyzed using the structural equation modeling (SEM) approach. The proposed measurement model evaluated the effects of music, authenticity, and belonging on behavioral intentions within a holistic structural framework. The effects of music experience, perceived authenticity, and sense of belonging on behavioral intentions were examined in detail. The results of the structural model indicate the presence of significant effects among the variables under investigation.
