Abstract (EN)

Today, Myrina, which is located near the Aliağa district of İzmir Province, Its foundation was based on legends, as in many cities. The name of the city, which was one of the 12 Aeolian cities of the Attica-Delos Union in the Ancient Age, was changed to Sebastopolis in the Roman Period. There is a lot of information waiting to be revealed about the city, which was called Myrina again in time. Thesis topic; In the area 1300 m east of Myrina city, It consists of finds obtained from a salvage excavation carried out by the İzmir Archeology Museum Directorate between 2014 and 2015. The study area is where the uncovered Roman villa is located.By taking the layer as the focal point, other layers in the area were also examined. The ceramics recovered from the 13 places identified belonging to the villa in question were examined, and the ones that were important in order to date the building and determine its purpose of use were included in the catalogue.
