Abstract (EN)
N-heterocyclic carbenes as transition metals have attracted lots of attention in recent years, due to their catalitic activities in metathesis, furan formation, polimerization, hydrosilylation, hydrogenation and coupling reactions. Metal-NHC complexes were more stable than corresponding phospine analogues and odorless, as well as their catalitic activity in many chemical reactions is 100 to 1000 times higher than phospine analogues. N-Heterocyclic carbenes introduced the innovation of the chemistry of homogeneous catalysis due to the fact that they exhibit better chemical behaviour than the corresponding analogues. NHC complexes, unlike phospine analogues show improved chemical properties, easy preparation and are non toxic; thus they have found many applications in catalysis and synthetic chemistry. The carbon-heteroatom bond formation with transition metal catalyzed cross-coupling reactions has been one of the important issues of interest in recent years. The formation of aromatic C-N bonds is very important for the synthesis of interested compounds especially in pharmaceutical and agricultural chemistry. Therefore in this study, substituted azolium salts have been syhthesized and palladium complexes have been prepared for the investigation of their activities.
