Abstract (EN)
The subject of this thesis is on "Availability of Sodium Bentonite in Nanobentonite Plant and Spud Type Drilling Mud". The effects of Tokat Reşadiye region sodium bentonite kiln used in drilling muds according to TSE EN ISO 13500 standard reduced to different sizes in drilling mud have been investigated. The sodium bentonite shaft was milled and milled with sodium bentonite in three different sizes. As a result of the operations carried out, sodium bentonite is milled in 3 different sizes, below 75 microns, below 25 microns and below 1 micron. Drilling sludge samples were prepared in the drilling laboratory of İskenderun Technical University Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering Department using different sizes of bentonite produced. The rheological, filtration and chemical analyzes of the prepared drilling muds were carried out to investigate the effects of grain size on the characteristics of the drilling mud.
