Abstract (EN)

Determination of thermoluminescence (TL) chracteristics of glow curves is an important area for thermoluminescence dosimetry (TLD) researches. In this study, Yttriyum based phosphors were prepared by solid state reaction, from homogeneous mixture consisting of Y2O3, Eu2O3, Tb4O7, Ta2O5, Nb2O5, and Na2SO4 as flux. After investigation of X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) spectrum of Yttriyum based phosphors, radioluminescence (RL), photoluminescence (PL) and thermoluminescence (TL) of phosphors were reported. TL characteristics of those phosphors were investigated and reported after exposure to ß irradiation, UV (310 nm) illumination and X-ray irradiation in the present study.Due to valuable features of yttriyum based phosphors, like as high sensitivity to UV, ß and X-ray irradiation, stability, repeatability, linear dose response, these innovative phosphors are promising to improve TLD materials.
