Abstract (EN)

Concrete is a very important building material used for buildings, carrier and decorative purposes in different areas today. Contemporary development in material technology provides a wide range of uses in the construction of buildings, which is reflected in the provision of suitable materials in terms of shape, size and speed of completion. Concrete is the most used material in the world after water. The greater the benefits, the greater the harm to our planet and human health. For this reason, adding additives to concrete brings less CO2 emissions to the environment and nature with new features suitable for the purposes and requirements of buildings and other structures. It is added in very small amounts to impart certain properties to fresh concrete or hardened concrete. In this study, the properties and effects of concrete were investigated by adding nano silica to concrete. As the aim of the study, partial substitution of cement in concrete (%0.5, %1.5 and %2.5) nano silica was used in three ratios and researches were made about its properties. Experiments were carried out on the properties of nano silica concrete of different ratios on slump, air void, Schmidt hammer hammer, compressive strength, splitting strength, flexural strength and water absorption. According to the results of all the experiments, the nano silica mixtures used were clearly affected by different ratios and the properties of the concrete, and it was determined that the age of the samples was 28 days, with an average of 2.5%, which affected the concrete the most.
