Abstract (EN)
In this study, hexagonal ZnO nanostructures were synthesized by sol-gel approach. The crystalline structures and surface morphology of the as prepared nanostructures were analyzed by several techniques like X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectrum (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), respectively. The optical properties of the prepared ZnO nanoparticles were investigated by means of UV-VIS spectrophotometer. The biosensor activity of as prepared nanoparticles was tested utilized by Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM). The fabricated sensor was composed of ZnO-ChOx-PBS-Nafion solution coating onto QCM probe. We monitored the change of frequency with different concentration of the prepared specimens. It is found that the change of frequency with cholesterol concentration is linearly, indicating that the prepared biosensor is a very useful to detecting the cholesterol and promising as a new biosensor devices.
