Abstract (EN)

In this thesis study; Nanoparticles were produced using Hummers method and chemical method and characterized by SEM, XPS, XRD and Raman spectroscopy. Then, drilling muds were prepared by adding nanomaterials to the drilling mud at different concentrations (0.0005-0.001-0.005-0.01 % k/v). After the nanoparticles were added to the drilling mud, PV, AV, YP, gel strength, filtration loss, cake thickness, pH and density analyzes were analyzed according to the American Petroleum Institute (API) standards. As a result of the study, it was not seen that graphene and AgNPs/GO added to the drilling mud at different rates caused any effect on PV values compared to spud mud, but as a result of the addition of GO and AgNPs@AuNPs/GO; It has been determined that it has a positive effect of 67% and 33%. Moreover; as a result of the addition of graphene, GO, AgNPs/GO and AgNPs@AuNPs/GO, the AV values were respectively; increased by 17.6%, 44%, 18.75%, 26%, YP values; increased by 44.4%, 44%, 30%, 22%, 10 second values; increased by 55.5%, 33%, 30%, 66.6%,10 minutes values; increased by 30.7%, 43%, 42%, 46%, filtration loss values; decreased by 10%, 9.52%, 8.4%, 3.84%, cake thickness; increased by 10%, 10%, 33.3%, 27.2%. When all nanomaterials were compared among themselves, it was determined that the best addition ratio to the drilling mud was 0.001%.
