Abstract (EN)

The mythological bird, also known as the Huma or Tugrul bird in Turkish mythology, whose journey to its home is depicted in stories and visual works as the Phoenix in Egyptian mythology, Simurg in Iranian mythology, was examined in this study. A portion of this mythological bird's journey to its home was then reinterpreted and turned into a short animated film. The film style was chosen because miniature drawings, a frequent narrative technique in Uzbek, Iranian, and Turkish tales and myths, are used. The project's characters and settings, which were depicted with miniatures, will be turned into 2D animated films. The music and sound design will incorporate ethnic instruments and noises in addition to conventional sketching techniques.
